بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّ...

In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah. There is no power and no strength except with the help of Allah, the Most Honourable and the Most Great.

Whoever says when he leaves his house

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ ...

Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. Allah is the Greatest. How perfect is the One Who has given us control over this (vehicle). We could not have done it by ourselves. Truly it is to our Lord that we are returning.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى ، وَمِنَ ...

O Allah, we ask You for piety, protection, mindfulness and to do deeds which You will be pleased with on our journey. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and let us cover its distance swiftly.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ، وَكَآبَةِ الْمَنْظَرِ ،...

O Allah, I seek Your protection from the difficulties of the journey, from distressing scenes, and from an ill-fated outcome in my wealth and family. O Allah, You are our Companion on the journey and the One in Whose care we leave our family.

نَوَيْتُ تَأْخِيرَ الظُّهْرِ إِلَى وَقْتِ الْعَصْرِ نَوَيْتُ تَأْخِيرَ الْمَغْر...

I make an intention to delay my Zuhur to Asar time. I make an intention to delay my Maghrib to Isya' time.

For Jama' Ta'khir (pray at the later time during travel), make your intention to pray later as such

أُصَلِّي صَلَاةَ الظُّهْرِ وَصَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ جَمْعًا وَقَصْرًا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَ...

I intend to pray Zuhur and Asar combined and shortened for the sake of Allah, the Most High. I intend to pray Maghrib and Isya' combined and shortened for the sake of Allah, the Most High.

For combining and shortening prayers during travel

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا وَخَيْرَ أَهْلِهَا وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا، و...

O Allah, we ask You for the goodness of this land, the goodness of its people, and the goodness of what is within it. And we seek refuge in You from its evil, the evil of its people, and the evil of what is within it.

General supplication when entering a new place. Similar to authentic duas for entering towns.

آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ

Whoever recites the 'verse of the Throne' (Ayaatul Kursi) after every prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and entry into Paradise but his death.

Recite after every prescribed prayer

الْقُرْآنُ الْكَرِيمُ

Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.

لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

There is no god except Allah.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ

Glory and praise to Allah

You can read these Zikir during your Tawaf / Sa'i

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ

Glory and praise to Allah, glory to Allah the Almighty.

You can read these Zikir during your Tawaf / Sa'i

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَر...

Allah is free from imperfection; Praise be to Allah; There is no true God except Allah; Allah is the Greatest.

You can read these Zikir during your Tawaf / Sa'i. Jannah has a vast plain of pure soil and sweet water. The plants grow there by uttering these words.

لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ

There is no power and no strength except with Allah.

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أ...

Glory be to Allah and all praise is due to Allah and there is no deity except Allah and Allah is the Greatest. There is no power (to gain benefit) and no ability (to ward off harm) except with the help of Allah, the Most Honourable and the Most Great.

You can read these Zikir during your Tawaf / Sa'i

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُ...

O Allah! Lord of this perfect call and of the regular prayer which is going to be established, give Muhammad the right of intercession and outstanding honour and resurrect him to the best and the highest place in Paradise that You promised him (of).

The supplication made between the Azan and the Iqamah is not rejected.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ افْت...

In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِ...

In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty

رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَاب...

Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire

This is highly recommended to recite between the Yemeni Corner (Rukn Yamani) and the Black Stone (Hajar Aswad)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest

Say this when touching, kissing, or pointing to the Black Stone at the start of each circuit of Tawaf

وَاتَّخِذُوا مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى

And take the standing place of Ibrahim as a place of prayer

Recite this verse and pray 2 rakats behind Maqam Ibrahim after completing Tawaf

إِنَّ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَائِرِ اللَّهِ

Indeed, Safa and Marwa are among the symbols of Allah

Recite when you reach Safa and can see the Kaaba, then say: 'We begin with what Allah began with'

اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ. لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ...

Allah is the Greatest (3x). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs dominion and praise, and He is capable of all things. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, supported His slave, and defeated the confederates alone

Face the Kaaba when you reach the elevated point of Safa or Marwa, raise your hands in supplication, and repeat this 3 times with personal dua in between

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ،...

O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am Your servant. I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sins except You

The Master of Seeking Forgiveness (Sayyidul Istighfar) - one of the most powerful du'as. Highly recommended to recite daily, especially in the morning and evening

اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَل...

Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great

Recite after every obligatory prayer for protection. This is the greatest verse in the Quran

سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ، وَإِنَّا إ...

Glory is to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it by our efforts. And verily, to our Lord we shall return

Say when boarding any mode of transport - plane, car, bus, train, etc.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا، وَرِزْقًا وَاسِعًا، وَشِفَاءً مِن...

O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and healing from every disease

It is recommended to make dua before drinking Zamzam, as the Prophet ﷺ said Zamzam is for whatever it is drunk for

اللَّهُمَّ يَا رَبَّ الْبَيْتِ الْعَتِيقِ، أَعْتِقْ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ، وَأ...

O Allah, Lord of the Ancient House, free my neck from the Fire, protect me from Satan the accursed, protect me from all evil, make me content with what You have provided me, and bless me in it

Multazam is the area between the door of the Kaaba and the Black Stone. It is a place where duas are accepted

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ، إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْأَعَزُّ الْأَكْرَمُ

My Lord, forgive and have mercy, indeed You are the Most Mighty, the Most Generous

This can be recited throughout the Sa'i between Safa and Marwa

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَ...

I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger

Say this after completing wudu (ablution)

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ (٣٣)، الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ (٣٣)، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ (٣٣)

Glory be to Allah (33 times), All praise is due to Allah (33 times), Allah is the Greatest (33 times)

Recite after every obligatory prayer. Then complete to 100 with: La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir

اللَّهُمَّ زِدْ هٰذَا الْبَيْتَ تَشْرِيفًا وَتَعْظِيمًا وَتَكْرِيمًا وَمَهَابَةً...

O Allah, increase this House in honour, esteem, respect and reverence. And increase those who honour and respect it, of those who perform Hajj or Umrah, in honour, respect, esteem and piety.

Recite when you first see the Ka'bah. Raise your hands and make dua.

نَوَيْتُ طَوَافَ (الْعُمْرَةِ / السُّنَّةِ / الْوَدَاعِ) بِهٰذَا الْبَيْتِ سَبْع...

I intend to perform the Tawaf of (Umrah / Sunnah / Wada'), around this House (Ka'bah), 7 rounds, for the sake of Allah, the Most High.

Before starting Tawaf. Note: Intentions are made in the heart, not verbalized in the Sunnah.

وَأَدْخِلْنَا الْجَنَّةَ مَعَ الأَبْرَارِ، يَا عَزِيزُ، يَا غَفَّارُ، يَا رَبَّ ...

And admit us into Paradise with the righteous, O Mighty, O Forgiving, O Lord of the worlds.

Optional additional supplication after reciting 'Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan...' (Quran 2:201) between Rukn Yamani and Hajar Aswad

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَىٰ و...

My Lord, grant me the strength to always be grateful for the blessings You have given me and my parents and grant me the strength to perform deeds that You are pleased with and make my offspring righteous. Indeed, I repent to You and I am among those who submit to You (Muslims).

Recommended during Tawaf Round 1 when reflecting on gratitude. This is the dua of the righteous person who recognizes Allah's blessings.

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَىٰ ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

O Allah, help me to remember You, to be grateful to You and to worship You in the best manner.

The Prophet ﷺ taught this to Mu'adh رضي الله عنه and instructed him to recite it after every prayer. Can also be recited during Tawaf/Sa'i.

يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ، ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَىٰ دِينِكَ

O Turner of hearts, keep my heart steadfast on Your religion.

The Prophet ﷺ made this dua frequently. Excellent for Tawaf Round 2 when reflecting on seeking forgiveness and steadfastness.

رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا، وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ

My Lord, grant me an increase in knowledge and join me with the ranks of the righteous.

Combine duas from Quran for seeking knowledge and righteousness. Perfect for Tawaf or anytime during Umrah.
