Du'a When Afflicted with a Calamity

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِي فِي مُصِيبَتِي وَأَخْلِفْ لِي خَيْرًا مِنْهَا

Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji'oon. Allaahumma'jurnee fee museebatee wa akhlif lee khayran minhaa.

Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. O Allah, reward me for my affliction and replace it for me with something better.

Whoever says this when afflicted with a calamity, Allah will replace it with something better for him.
