اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي فِيهِ أَبْوَابَ الْجِنَانِ وَأَغْلِقْ عَنِّي فِيهِ أَبْوَابَ النِّيرَانِ وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيهِ لِتِلَاوَةِ الْقُرْآنِ يَا مُنْزِلَ السَّكِينَةِ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

Allaahummaftah lee feehi abwaabal-jinaan wa aghliq 'annee feehi abwaaban-neeraan wa waffiqnee feehi litilaawaatil-Qur'aan yaa Munzilas-sakeenati fee quloobil-mu'mineen.

O Allah, on this day open for me the gates of Paradise, close for me the gates of Hellfire, and grant me the opportunity to recite the Quran, O Sender of tranquillity into the hearts of the believers., Traditional (en)
