اللَّهُمَّ قَرِّبْنِي فِيهِ إِلَى مَرْضَاتِكَ وَجَنِّبْنِي فِيهِ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَنَقِمَاتِكَ وَوَفِّقْنِي فِيهِ لِقِرَاءَةِ آيَاتِكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

Allaahumma qarribnee feehi ilaa mardaatika wa jannibnee feehi min sakhatika wa naqimaatika wa waffiqnee feehi liqiraa'ati aayaatika birahmatika yaa Arhamar-Raahimeen.

O Allah, on this day bring me closer to Your pleasure, and keep me away from Your anger and punishment, and grant me the opportunity to recite Your verses, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful., Traditional (en)
