Terms & Conditions

By using Ibadah Toolkit (the β€œApp”), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before continuing to use any part of this application.

1. Nature of the App

Ibadah Toolkit is provided as a free resource to assist Muslims in their daily worship and spiritual routines. It is not a replacement for formal Islamic education, scholarly guidance, or rulings from qualified religious authorities. The content in the app, including prayer times, du'as, Umrah guides, and Zakat calculations, is based on widely accepted Islamic sources and algorithms, but should always be cross-checked with local scholars and verified institutions, especially for matters that carry religious obligations.

2. Accuracy of Information

We do our best to make sure everything in this app is accurate and up to date. That said, prayer times are calculated using third-party APIs and mathematical models, which may not always match your local mosque or national Islamic authority. Hijri calendar dates are based on astronomical algorithms and may differ from actual moon sighting declarations in your region. Zakat calculations are estimates to help you plan, and they should not be treated as final rulings. We strongly encourage you to consult a knowledgeable scholar or your local religious body for any decisions that depend on precise dates or financial calculations.

3. No Account or Personal Data Collection

This app does not require you to create an account, and it does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your preferences, settings, saved history (such as Zakat records or dhikr logs), and customisation choices are stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, that information will be lost. We have no way to recover it for you, so keep that in mind.

4. Location and Sensor Permissions

Some features in the app, such as the Qibla compass and the nearby mosque finder, will ask for access to your device's location and motion sensors. This data is only used on your device in real time to provide those features. It is never sent to us or to any third party. You can choose to deny these permissions, and the rest of the app will continue to work normally.

5. Third-Party Services

The app uses several external APIs to fetch live data, including Aladhan for prayer times, Open-Meteo for weather, and OpenStreetMap (Overpass and Nominatim) for mosque locations. These services are free and publicly available, but we do not control or guarantee their availability or accuracy. If any of these services experience downtime or return incorrect data, we cannot be held responsible for the impact on your experience.

6. Du'a and Islamic Content

The du'as, guides, and Islamic references in this app come from well-known collections and established hadith sources. We have made every effort to present them faithfully, but we are human and mistakes can happen. If you come across any error, whether it is a spelling mistake in the Arabic text, a wrong translation, or an incorrect reference, please let us know immediately so we can fix it. This app is a community effort and your feedback helps make it better for everyone.

7. Limitation of Liability

Ibadah Toolkit is offered β€œas is” without any warranties. We are not liable for any loss, damage, missed obligations, or inconvenience arising from the use of this app, including but not limited to incorrect prayer times, miscalculated Zakat amounts, inaccurate compass readings, or outdated mosque data. You use this app at your own discretion and are responsible for verifying information that matters to your worship.

8. Changes to the App

We may update, modify, or remove features from time to time without prior notice. This could include adding new tools, improving existing ones, fixing bugs, or removing features that are no longer feasible to maintain. We will do our best to keep the app useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that any specific feature will always be available.

9. Intellectual Property

All original code, design, and layout of this app belong to the developer. The Islamic content (du'as, Quranic verses, hadith references) belongs to the public domain of Islamic scholarship and is shared for the benefit of the Ummah. You are welcome to share the app with others, but please do not redistribute, resell, or repurpose any part of it without written permission.

10. Governing Terms

By continuing to use the app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the app. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use after any changes means you accept the updated terms.
